Studies in Public Security and New Technologies – EAD Training

The objective of the studies linked to Public Safety in the EAD environment is to offer modern training, accessible and aligned with contemporary technological transformations, preparing professionals for the new operational, legal and strategic challenges of the sector. In a scenario marked by the rapid evolution of two technological advances, it becomes essential to understand and master tools that directly impact prevention, investigation and security management.

In this context, the courses devoted to the use of drones represent a new field of knowledge that is still not widespread in Brazil, but of increasing relevance for activities of monitoring, intelligence, patrolling, crisis management, risk analysis and support to institutional operations. Course on Drones Applied to Public Security – Intelligence, Legality and Operations

This course aims to train professionals for the technical, strategic and legally responsible work of drones in the context of public security, integrating operational intelligence, surveillance, patrol, criminal prevention and support for police and institutional operations.

The training addresses the use of drones as an informational superiority tool, with a focus on urban and rural monitoring, border operations, support for patrols, crisis management, search and rescue and analysis of risks, always in consonance with the Brazilian legal system, including the Federal Constitution, criminal and procedural legislation, Antiterrorism Law (Lei nº 13.260/2016), LGPD, ANAC standards, DECEA and information security practices.

The course differs by integrating the legal-operational dimension into tactical planning, analyzing real case studies, possible legal disclosures, limits of use of technological force and institutional responsibility of public agents. Interfaces with police intelligence, SISFRON, rural patrol, behavioral analysis, stress decision making and operator mental health protection have also been explored.

Targeted at public security professionals, managers, commanders, intelligence analysts, institutional operators, public servants and researchers, the subsequent course of formative, technical and strategic nature is not confused with military combat training, but rather with the legitimate, proportional and effective application of drones in the public security field.
